David N. Kydd
PRESIDENT

Mr. Kydd, the founder of EBM, Inc./Executive Building Maintenance, Inc. oversees all facets of portfolio acquisition as well as the day-to-day management of corporate accounts. Mr. Kydd’s background includes 34 years of diverse staff responsibility, encompassing virtually every aspect of the janitorial maintenance business. Prior to forming EBM, Inc., Mr. Kydd was employed by an established international janitorial firm. Serving as Branch Manager for over 12 years, Mr. Kydd was responsible for the Washington, DC area, as well as for Maryland and Virginia. In 1988 Mr. Kydd commenced operation of this company with one account and to date EBM, Inc. has grown into a multi-million dollar organization.

Barrie L. Kydd
VICE PRESIDENT

Ms. Kydd has been involved in marketing, sales, and customer relations since the inception of EBM, Inc. in 1988.  During her tenure she has had the opportunity to work with several companies in various roles with Commercial, Federal, State and local Government procurement offices in the Metro DC area. She has provided consultations regarding client operations, efficiencies and productivity. Her beliefs, values, ethics and character combined with excellent communication skills, is what inspires the team at EBM, Inc to do their very best for their customers! She is a member of USGBC, BSCAI, and SBA and is involved in many philanthropic activities including, the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, the Children's Inn at NIH, the American Cancer Society, Make a Wish Foundation, JSSA, and the Montgomery County Humane Society.

Paula Shapiro
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Ms. Shapiro has over 30 years managerial experience which includes 21 years experience in the local Janitorial Cleaning services industry. She has strong ties to the Metropolitan Washington community and is remembered by many area residents as the owner of ACME Window Cleaning Washington DC, she’s a highly skilled executive with extensive sales management and selling experience.

Steve Chamberlain
VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS

Mr. Chamberlain has worked in all aspects of the janitorial maintenance profession and has over 25 years experience in the Middle Atlantic Region. He directs all areas of operations, including the implementation and maintaining Green Seal Cleaning Policies, supervisory programs and servicing of existing accounts.

Walter Tombini
QUALITY ASSURANCE

Mr. Tombini is instrumental in the hiring and training of all Janitorial Personnel, overseeing the day-to-day activities for existing accounts, and inspection of those accounts to maintain the high quality we expect within our organization. Prior to joining Executive Building Maintenance, Inc. Mr. Tombini worked for Good Council High Schoolas the Head Engineer in charge of all facets of maintenance, bringing with him extensive experience in building services and contracting in the Washington Area. Mr. Tombini received his degree in Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires in 1983.
